Why did you choose to work in the Recruitment Industry?

Recruitment actually choose me! Back in the late 80’s I was employed by Next as a Retail Store Manager. In my search for a new challenging opportunity I walked into the Reed Employment office in Bishopsgate, London; with the intention of asking for assistance in my search. Two and a half hours later, having talked at length to the Branch Manager of that office, I had an interview arranged for the following day with their Regional Director. By the end of the following week, I had been offered and accepted a post as Branch Manager for the newly launched Knightsbridge office and I remained with Reed for 5 years.
