Chef Manager – Brand New Care Home – Loughton - £30,000 p/a

 

Company profile:

Working with in a brand new care home which opened in April 2014.

With 72 residents. They are a breath of fresh air in the care home sector paying close attention to the experience of dining and producing fresh wholesome food for all residents on a daily basis. With a head chef in place they are looking for an experienced chef manger to oversee all the food and dining provided in the home.

 

Responsible for:

Taking charge of the kitchen and leading the team by example.

Working with management to deliver consistency.

Cooking 100% from fresh using local and seasonal produce.

Producing food for the club house, busy functions and the restaurant.

Helping to create menus for residents.

Liaising closely with General manager regarding staffing, budgets, wastage and suppliers.

Liaising with the front of house staff to ensure the best customer service is achieved.

Ordering, stock taking and menu costing.

Managing Health and Safety and Health and Hygiene.

 

Benefits:
